Job Description:

In your role as Director Sales, you will be responsible for strategic B2B new business acquisition on behalf of 6D Global Technologies’ Digital Media team. Our highly experienced Digital Media team specializes in delivering digital marketing solutions, including Marketing Analytics, Paid Media, SEO, Content, Creative, Consumer Experience and integrated Digital Marketing Strategy services. Our team is focused on delivering high value digital media solutions to marketers seeking unparalleled performance from a partner experienced in marketing high consideration products and services in complex B2B and B2C applications. We have been successful in marketing for business services, telecommunications, education, manufacturing, travel and ecommerce for mid-market and enterprise sized organizations.

Experience:

An ideal candidate can blend marketing knowledge, business acumen, and people skills into a consultative approach that quickly identifies gaps in a digital marketing programs, builds trust, and brings the right subject matter experts to the table at the right time. This candidate should have experience selling digital marketing and/or marketing technology services. He or she must be highly capable leading new business pursuit efforts, be willing to support our internal marketing and lead-generation team, and possess a collaborative, growth minded approach. We’re looking for highly motivated and responsive individual who will tenaciously work both new lead sources and his or her existing contacts. He or she must enjoy and excel in strategic, consultative conversations with potential clients.

The ideal candidates will possess:

Proven demonstration in developing and closing new business of at least $1.5MM + annually

B2B sales and digital marketing agency experience

Initially sole source but must be able to eventually grow a sales team

Prefer someone that lives in a major market area for our services, and collaboration with our delivery teams, ideally Southern California

Must have an entrepreneurial mindset and be a team player

Experience in consultative and solution selling

Demonstrated understanding of Digital Advertising, Creative Development, Web Development, and Marketing Analytics and relevant technologies

Excellent deadline management, written and verbal communication

Certifications:

Bachelors degree and relevant work experience in a sales capacity
